The Maternal Health Learning & Innovation Center (MHLIC) was one of the pioneers of maternal health professional education and technical assistance support. For 5 years, MHLIC received funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to provide maternal health resources and technical assistance to 35 State Maternal Health Innovation (MHI) and three Rural Maternity and Obstetrics Management Strategies (RMOMS) teams, as well as maternal health professionals and stakeholders across the US.

Beginning September 30, 2024, these support resources are provided by a new Maternal Health Action & Resource Center (MHARC) funded by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB).
