Abstract
  • The overall purpose of this investigation was to utilize pathophysiologic, methodologic and empirical approaches to address gaps in our understanding about the identification of biomarkers that predict impending HFpEF. To guide this exploration, three papers were developed that outline the current scope of the problem, define strategies to contribute to the current science, report the results of two empirical studies and report on the impact and implications for future research.
