Abstract
  • This thesis looks at South African land reform since the fall of apartheid from both a national view and an individualistic one through the case study of a community outside of Cape Town. The argument centers around the ineffectiveness and inefficiency that the newly democratic government has demonstrated in land reform, perpetuating massive inequality.
