Abstract
  • Widespread human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination could prevent most of the HPV-associated cancers diagnosed every year. Policy interventions have the potential to bring about population-level increases in HPV vaccination and a long-term reduction in HPV-associated disease burden. However, especially in the US, policy interventions have not been frequently employed and have faced varying levels of public resistance. This review seeks to summarize, through available literature, the effectiveness of policy interventions to improve adolescent HPV vaccination initiation and completion.
