Abstract
  • IntroductionOccupational choice is the process that leads to occupational engagement2. While this was previously thought to be formed by a person’s motivation, it has recently been understood as more complex because it has many contributing factors. “Preacher’s kids” (PKs) may experience limitations in occupational choice because they feel like they live in a “fishbowl”4and are under greater stress to live up to the expectations of their parents and the church congregation.Research Aim: This study aims to explore the impact that being a PK has on occupational choice.
